I’ve never cared much for the rain. I appreciate what it does for the grass and plants as well as knocking down the pollen, but during a quarantine, I really do not like rain! Getting outside is one of the most exciting things I get to do right now and the rain last week put a damper on a lot of my outdoor activities. How was your week last week?
I was able to attend two great WAM! meetings last week, one being the first Ashland WAM! Meeting. It’s great to be kicking off a new meeting during all of this. Patrick Devlin facilitated the WAM! Tastic meeting this week and it appears I missed a great meeting.
I was able to complete one side job outside, spend some quality time with dad and run a 5k. It was a virtual 5k. This was my first virtual 5k and it was to support Better2gether RVA. This is normally their biggest event of the year and COVID19 is really making this hard on them. The families they are helping, still need the help, maybe even more than usual, so I’m really pushing a little harder to get everyone to help. Please visit and like their Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/better2getherRVA/. Even better, would be to sign up for the 5k. It doesn’t matter where you live, you don’t have to run, you don’t have to even complete it at one time, it’s fun and you can help the families of some amazing children. Check it out here – https://bit.ly/2W50ok2 . I appreciate your support.
This week I plan on getting in some golfing, a lot more exercising, some fishing, side work, WAM! Meetings including one new WAM! Meeting. Thursday afternoon we are going to have our first meeting during which guests are included as members. What exciting things are in your plans this week?
Write me at walter@wam-usa.com. Meanwhile, have a fantastic week.
