If you don’t like change, this has got to be a difficult time for you. I thought change was easy for me but apparently, that’s only for the change that I want, not the change that is forced on me.
These past few weeks, dealing with the changes stemming from this lockdown has been a challenge for me. Some of them are getting better and others I’m still working on.
I mentioned last week that I am doing great with adapting to online meetings. This past week I tried a couple more formats and I will continue until I find the best one.
Many of my one on one coaching clients had to put things on hold right now because they are unsure about their own businesses. This has led me to focus on expanding the services I offer and that is leading to what will hopefully be some bigger and better things. I’m excited about this.
With the loss of income I decided to take on a couple side jobs. I performed some basic landscaping, removing a brush pile, a small tree job and some pruning. I am shocked at how much I have enjoyed getting back out there and working with my hands. I wish there was a way to get paid what I would like doing more of that. I have also taken on some different tasks for some clients like working on their social media, interviewing vendors for them and more. What new things are doing now that stemmed from the lockdown?
Of course, I have also been enjoying the outdoor exercising, cooking at home and another round of golf, this time with an old friend at Brandermill Country Club. What are you doing for fun during all of this?
I’m looking forward to some good meetings this week, especially our new Ashland meeting, some more golf, sidework and cooking. I hope you have a good week as well.
