This is going to be the last time I write to you in 2021. I never really got used to writing 2021 and now I am about to have to start writing 2022. This one really seems to have gone even faster than normal. Happy New Year!
This will probably push me to try and do even more next year. Which by the way, depending on how Dad does I am going to try again to hike the Appalachian trail this year. If that doesn’t pan out, the next big one on the list is to purchase a Harley Davidson and ride it to Sturgis for bike week there. What are your big goals?
One of my big highlights last week was John and I completing a custom made fireplace mantle for a friend of mine. Her house was constructed over 25 years ago using wood from their trees milled on site. She had saved this piece for a mantle but they never got to it and her husband has passed. When I learned of this I just had to see it completed and knew that with John’s machinist expertise that we could do something special.
The remainder of the week was spent spending quality time with my father, shooting a lot of pool, two movie dates with Michele, Christmas morning with family and playing with my toys that I got for Christmas including a recurve bow and arrows, camping ax and six shooter.
This week I hope to get out golfing, practice with my bow and I have three appointments to help some great folks with setting and mapping out their goals so that they too can be more successful.
What do you have planned this week?
