Well last week was a bit different for me. I helped three different friends with different jobs at their homes. At moments it seemed like work and it scared me so I am going to make sure not to do too much of that this week. Lol
I don’t know why but Dad wanted to eat at different places this week and I ended up meeting on two different occasions with friends at different places so I did add a little excitement in the exploring of more different places to eat in Richmond. Eating out everyday for as many years as I have I think I could probably write a book about eats in Richmond.
Attended a WAM meeting Tuesday and although I don’t even remember what the conversations started with, the solutions discussed came back once again to time management. It’s uncanny how often the lack of prioritizations, the lack of planning and the failure to value and track our time can cause us so many difficulties. Why is it so hard to treat our time like we do our money?
Tuesday night pool league was exciting. The tides turned a bit and I quickly took a 2-0 lead on my opponent before we began yet another lengthy and strategic match full of defensive shots that lead to a 3 to 3 tie and ended with me missing the winning shot on the 8 ball before he beat me.
I got back in the gym Thursday morning and once again, disregarded my lengthy absence, went hard for about an hour and half and spent the next three days walking like I had been in an accident. Whether it’s gym visits or eating, I seem to have a problem with stopping before it’s too late. Lol
Other than that, there was a Marine Corps League meeting, a birthday party for the granddaughter and a great date night with Michele.
I hope you have a great week and that you focus this week a little more on your time and it’s value and a little less on money and it’s lack of value.
