If you are an entrepreneur and share your idea with a bunch of 9 to 5’ers what kind of reaction do you get? If you share a problem in your business with a bunch of people who have never been in business for themselves, what do you think you will get?
The “F” in S.A.F.E. is for “Feedback”. The right feedback is worth more than we ever give it credit for. Bouncing ideas, challenges and situations with our peers is a great way to find the answers we need.
The biggest obstacle in receiving good feedback is being willing to open up, be vulnerable, and ask for it. This is the part of S.A.F.E. as a whole. When you are sitting at the table with like minded peers, it’s a safe place, to put it out there. They are going to be much more empathetic, understanding and knowledgeable about what you’re going through or proposing. In addition, they are about to do the same when it’s their turn and they need to trust in you as well.
What would you like some feedback on?
