As a longtime member of WAM! (long before it was even WAM!) I have enjoyed our meetings and gatherings. Whether it is a small group round table discussion, or a large social gathering, all the members and guests are a great resource. Our meetings are not the type where everyone is passing around business cards. Each member there is truly invested in your success and are willing to give you honest feedback. While I may not always like it, it is exactly what I need to hear. One of the more recent examples was when someone in the group said “who cares! Give your customer an example of something that just happened if you want your message to truly resonate”. That advice sunk in and I appreciated the honesty. It’s hard to put a value on tips and support like this and I could the numbers would be huge.
My tip of the week; spend more time with your insurance professional. When I tell my customers things like, their toilet backing up could be covered for pennies and that this coverage could save them thousands, they are very appreciative.
