How was your 4th of July?
I started and ended my week on the golf course, got to go fishing twice, had breakfast with an old friend, dinner with some other friends, took my dad to a cruise but the highlight of my week was a little trip down to The Gorge and Chimney Rock in North Carolina.
The Gorge in Saluda is a course with the longest, steepest and fastest zip lines in the US. There are actually eleven zip lines, three repels and one walk across a rope bridge on this course that meanders through the tree tops and down a mountain. It takes almost four hours to complete it. Chimney Rock included a quaint little village along a mountain stream and a park with multiple trails, waterfalls and more. I slept in a tent alongside the stream. It was exciting, peaceful and relaxing.
If you have never been, I highly recommend them both. If you have any questions, please reach out. Even better, if you have any cool places like this that you recommend, share them with me. I want to go on more adventures soon.
Yesterday, I was able to attend an in person WAM! meeting which we have a new member, and tonight I’m attending Bullets, BBQ and Beer. If you like shooting and want to be my guest, just let me know.
Hope the rest of your week goes well.
