I seem to have less and less to write about each week. I’m surely not feeling retired right now. The good news is that my punch list at the house is continually getting shorter and it won’t be much longer until I am finally done there and can get my life back.
The best part of last week is that Michele didn’t have to work her part time jobs much so we got to spend a little more time together before she left for her cruise Saturday morning.
No changes with Dad. One of my daughters went to see him last week and it was pretty emotional for her. She hadn’t seen him in about six months and even though I had told her about his condition it really caught her off guard to see him like he is now. I am appreciative that we found a place that takes such good care of him though.
The New Years Eve party was fun. My friend made some homemade moonshine and I sampled a very generous amount of it. Lol Enough that I sang karaoke again!
In between all of that I did enjoy dinner with Michele’s brother who came up from North Carolina, had breakfast with an old Marine, worked on the golf tournament and the boxing smoker a little bit and called on a few old friends. I only had one session this past week with a client for an entire week.
How about those New Year’s resolutions? Did you make any? Are you working on new goals? Feel free to share them with me and of course I’m always available to help if needed.
Talk to you next week
