Happy Labor and welcome September. I hope each of you reading this is enjoying this holiday and spending some time with friends and family, or that you had so much fun yesterday that you are reading it on Tuesday morning.
I had another fairly uneventful but relaxing week. I was able to spend some time at the shooting range with my business partner Shelby and my fellow Marines. This time I rented a pistol they call the governor which actually holds six shotgun shells and two of the Marines brought some old M1 rifles to shoot. We had a great time. If anyone would ever like to be my guest, we do this the first Wednesday evening of every month. I was also able to spend some time at the driving range with a friend and neighbor, visit my father a couple times, enjoy a round of golf with friends and attend an awesome pool party with friends.
Other than that, I spent a lot of time this week reflecting, analyzing and planning. I will share more about that in my tip of the week. This week I plan on spending additional time at the gym as I have challenged a friend to be under 200 lbs by the end of the month (first time I will be under 200 pounds since I got out of the Marine Corps in 1999), unpacking my storage unit and getting ready to take some stuff to the flea market Saturday, a hiking and a biking adventure, golfing with the Marines at Mattaponi Springs and getting more exercise.
This week I will only be attending one WAM! meeting, tomorrow, Tuesday, evening at 5:30 pm. If you know any entrepreneurs that are trying to break the mold and do something unique and achieve bigger goals faster, send them my way so I can include them in the meeting.
Have a great week.
