I will never forget the days when all I knew was work. I didn’t know what was going to happen, if things would ever change, if I was doing the right thing, etc. All I knew was that I needed to get up and go to work and do as much of it as I could.
I don’t regret it because it now serves as a reminder, a reminder of how valuable it is to work on my future and the plans to get there. It gives me the strength to overcome the obstacles, ignore the naysayers and make better decisions.
I learned this through the help of others. While I learned a lot from the many different coaches I hired there is nothing like the learning I have received from my peers. Spit balling ideas back and forth, sharing my struggles and successes and asking the big questions in a circle with others who have or are currently experiencing the same things just seems to work so much better for me.
I made a lot of friends networking and I did get a lot of referrals but nothing helped me like the coaching I received from my peers. It’s for these reasons that I created WAM! As a way to affordably offer a better way for more people to experience it as well.
So, my tip of the week is to not try and do it all yourself, seek out peers and let them help you.
Thursday March 11th from 9:00am until 10:00am we are hosting our next Open House for guests to visit, have their questions answered and learn more about what we are and what we do. Just let us know if you’re interested in attending.
