Have you ever heard anyone say that they don’t want to retire because they would be bored?
I really don’t get it. In the past two weeks I have enjoyed both a breakfast and a lunch meeting with old friends, three rounds of golf, two days of fishing, worked on a pit crew at the race track, helped two different friends work on their houses, saw two movies and spent a lot of time with Michele and my Dad. My biggest problem is that there just isn’t enough time to do all the things I want or visit all of the people I want to see.
Dad decided that he wasn’t up to the trip to Oshkosh so instead we are now going to try and attend a show in Atlanta next month. This may work out even better as my brother and one of Dad’s friends will be able to join us. Friends of his are already texting him pictures of his old plan from Oshkosh. I can’t wait to see it in person myself.
WAM! is about to bring some more excitement back to my life as well. I have never lost my passion for WAM! and how much and how many people it could help but I had lost some of the excitement. After spending some time in a couple meetings sharing my vision of WAM! it has basically restarted the fire and I am going to give it one more good try. Look for more on this.
This week is full of even more fun capped off on Sunday with me departing on a driving trip to Iowa to see my Mom with some stops on the way there and back to see friends.
I hope you have a great week and that you find your success!
