First I would like to thank everyone for the birthday wishes last week. It was a great way to start off the week.
I am really starting to enjoy the whole online meeting thing. With the reduction in drive time and the elimination of many of the distractions I am able to get even more done in less time. I thought I would miss the physical interaction but instead I have found that I am able to use some of this saved time on personal relationships. How are you dealing with this new way of doing so much business online?
We have three WAM! Meetings tomorrow 7:30am, 1:00pm and 5:30pm, one on Thursday at 9:00am. Make sure to email me if you would like to attend so that I can give you the login information. If you know any entrepreneurs who are always trying to work on their businesses and like helping others to do the same, please let them know about WAM!. We Are More than RVA now, we have online meetings and the ability to set up shop in any city in the US.
We have a few members that are dealing daily with some of the complexities of the stimulus package and how it affects and what opportunities are out there for small businesses. This Thursday at 1:00pm I will facilitate a question and answer panel so you can try and get some of the answers you’re looking for. We have an accountant, banker, mortgage professional, financial advisor and commercial real estate advisor. RSVP now at the following link and enter or email me your questions. https://www.facebook.com/events/1501861056641218/
Next week we are launching a new meeting. The Ashland WAM! meeting will take place the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 7:30am. Of course it is online right now but we are seeking out a location for this meeting as soon as the quarantine is lifted. If you have or know of a private meeting room that would accommodate 8 people please let us know.
Golfing is one of the few safe things to do right now and I have been enjoying more of it. I have organized an email list of golfers and we put together a different outing every month. On Wednesday the 29th of this month Carl Duffey was able to get us set up at the Highlands in Chesterfield and Dave Gigliotti set us for May 28th at Brickshire in New Kent. If you golf or know someone who does, get me email addresses and they will be added to the list. If you know anyone at any golf courses that would like to host our event, connect me with them.
Have a WAM!Tastic week!
